Family Photos at the Outer Banks | Breast Cancer Awareness | Outer Banks Photographer

Monday, September 15, 2014

Around a year ago, Brandi had reached out to me to schedule 6-month portraits (she was pregnant with Austin at the time) and family portraits for September 5 at the Outer Banks. Little did we know that their family would go through so much, and these photos would be so meaningful right at this time. Earlier this year, her Mom, Wendy, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Now Wendy is almost halfway through with her cancer treatments, and is a true inspiration of strength, faith, and courage to those around her! Wendy, I am praying for you, and cheering you on! I am confident you can beat this!
It was a blessing to me, just to be able to be around this sweet family, and feel the love they have for each other, and the faith that is getting everyone through.

Handsome little Austin (whom you may remember from our newborn photo session) is 6-months old now! You can tell he is so loved! He was absolutely precious for his 6-month photo shoot! We wanted to get plenty of him at this stage, and also use the time to get plenty of family photos as well. I’m so grateful that I get the opportunity to work with such special, amazing people. And I absolutely love being able to capture these memories for them to keep forever as well.

Thank you for visiting! Here are a few of my favorites from their session:
